Wilmette police: Anti-Semitic packets found in driveways

WILMETTE, In poor health. (TOC) — Packets full of anti-Semitic hate speech have been present in 5 driveways in north suburban Wilmette Wednesday.

Police mentioned the content material is much like packets present in Glencoe, Kenilworth, Winnetka and Highland Park final April.

Police mentioned the packets had flyers with anti-Semitic pictures and language.

“The Village Board and I completely reject these acts of antisemitism towards our neighborhood,” Wilmette Village President Senta Plunkett mentioned. “We attempt to foster an inclusive neighborhood and are each saddened and disgusted by these actions in Wilmette and our neighboring communities. In no unsure phrases, we denounce all types of hate speech and stand by our Jewish neighbors.”
