Wallet theft near Oak Brook mall leads to suburban chase days after family robbed at gunpoint

OAK BROOK, Ailing. (TOC) — A stolen pockets close to the Oakbrook Middle mall led to a police chase and arrest Tuesday evening.

Officers had been known as to the Nordstrom Rack on West twenty second Road about 7:30 p.m.

The sufferer informed police her bank card was getting used on the Apple retailer on the mall.

In the course of the investigation, officers stopped a person and girl in a minivan with no license plate close to Route 83 and Hodges Street.

The person took off working, and the girl sped off within the car towards Elmhurst.

Elmhurst police tried to cease the car, however it was shifting too quick, Oak Brook police mentioned.

The person is in now custody.

On Sunday, a household was robbed at gunpoint exterior the mall’s Neiman Marcus.
