The College of the Free State might be offering monetary help (partial tuition charge) to honours college students for the 12 months 2023.UFS Honours Bursary 2023. The UFS Honours Bursary is a once-off award for first-time honours college students finding out full time in 2023.

Vital to notice:

The UFS Honours Bursary is a once-off award for first-time honours college students finding out full time in 2023.
The bursary is awarded on educational benefit.
The holder of the bursary will not be a recipient of any authorities bursary/scholarship (e.g. the NRF).
The holder of the bursary will not be a recipient of the UFS Employees Research Profit/ Remission on Tuition Charges.
The award can’t be used to repay excellent charges from earlier years.
Complying with minimal eligibility standards doesn’t assure profitable utility; bursaries are awarded on educational benefit and availability of funds.
UFS Honours Bursary holders should attend the Centre for Graduate Help Analysis Capability Improvement workshops.

Who can apply for College of the Free State (UFS) Honours Bursary 2023

• All South African and worldwide college students.• Full time honours college students.• Candidates will need to have obtained an combination of at the very least 65% for his or her undergraduate research.• Candidates will need to have obtained their undergraduate diploma within the minimal prescribed interval.

Who isn’t eligible

• College students who already maintain an honours or ultimate 12 months B Tech diploma;• College students registered for his or her second 12 months of honours diploma;• College students pursuing an undergraduate diploma no matter the diploma for which they’re enrolled;• College students meaning to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma qualification, together with Postgraduate Certificates in Training (PGCE) and Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting; College students who obtained funding from the Centre for Graduate Help within the earlier years; and• College students who maintain employment positions.

What’s required

Official educational report indicating that the undergraduate qualification has been obtained.
Candidates (together with worldwide college students) who didn’t acquire their undergraduatedegrees on the College of the Free State should submit an educational report that showsfinal marks in percentages and never symbols.
Candidates who obtained their undergraduate levels on the College of the Free Statemust not submit their educational information. The Centre for Graduate Help will entry theiracademic information from the college.
 It’s the duty of every applicant to request from their earlier establishment an officialacademic report/transcript displaying their ultimate marks in percentages and never symbols.

• Full the web survey utility: https://surveys.ufs.ac.za/evasys/on-line.php?p=HONRS• Candidates who didn’t acquire their undergraduate diploma on the College of the Free State should e-mail their educational information in PDF format to [email protected] with the e-mail topic “Software for UFS Honours Funding” and UFS scholar quantity.• Candidates who obtained their undergraduate levels on the College of the Free State should not e-mail their educational information. The Centre for Graduate Help will entry their educational information from the College. Subsequently, they need to solely full the web survey utility.
