Truck driver killed after being hit by Metra Milwaukee District North train in Hainesville ID’d

HAINSEVILLE, Sick. (TOC) — A 41-year-old Wheeling man was killed after the truck he was driving was hit by a Metra Milwaukee District North Line practice Monday morning in north suburban Hainesville.

The person was recognized to the Lake County Coroner’s Workplace as Jesus Castrejon. An post-mortem decided he died from blunt drive accidents from the crash.

Castrejon was driving a dump truck on a non-public highway in Hainesville when it was struck by the Metra practice round 7 a.m.

The crash trigger the Metra practice to partially derail. A passenger onboard the practice suffered accidents that aren’t thought of life threatening.
