‘The Bean’ Chicago, IL: Diego Corona sentenced for vandalizing, spray-painting graffiti on ‘Cloud Gate’ in Loop

CHICAGO (TOC) — A Chicago man has been sentenced for vandalizing “The Bean” in Millennium Park.

Diego Corona was arrested for spray-painting graffiti on the general public paintings formally often called “Cloud Gate” again in February.

Diego Corona was charged with felony injury to public property below $500 and battery, police mentioned.

Corona has been sentenced to 2 years of probation, together with 50 hours of neighborhood service. He was additionally ordered to pay practically $150 in restitution to the town.

It is not the primary time the Bean has been tagged because it grew to become a Chicago image in 2004. Two males have been hit with felony expenses in 2019 after a gaggle of individuals defaced it with white spray paint.
