River North shooting: Man shot while driving downtown, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (TOC) — A 38-year-old man was shot whereas driving in River North Thursday evening, Chicago police stated.

The person was driving east simply earlier than 9:55 p.m. within the 100-block of West Chicago Avenue, close to LaSalle Drive and Clark Avenue, when a brown sedan pulled up, and somebody inside started taking pictures into the automobile from the passenger aspect, in line with CPD.

The person was shot within the stomach, groin and proper thigh, and Chicago hearth crews took him to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good situation.

Nobody was in custody Friday morning.
