CHICAGO — An individual was shot after his weapon went off throughout a battle with Chicago law enforcement officials Friday night time on the South Aspect.

About 10 p.m., officers seen the male with a weapon in his waistband at a park within the 700 block of East thirty seventh Road, Chicago police mentioned. The officers approached the male, resulting in a battle, officers mentioned.

Throughout the battle, the weapon went off, placing the male within the leg, police mentioned.

He was taken to the College of Chicago Medical Middle for remedy, authorities mentioned. His age and situation weren’t instantly obtainable.
