Pedestrian hit, killed by vehicle in Cicero; hit-and-run suspect at large

CICERO, In poor health. (TOC) — A 35-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Thursday morning in west suburban Cicero, a city spokesman mentioned.

The native man was hit whereas crossing the road someday earlier than 6:20 a.m. close to the intersection of Cicero Avenue and twenty fourth Avenue. He later died.

Cicero Avenue was closed in each instructions from Ogden Avenue to Cermak Highway after the incident.

It was not instantly clear what led as much as the deadly crash or who was concerned.
