CHICAGO (TOC) — A safety guard was attacked on Chicago’s Close to North Aspect Friday evening, in response to police.

The incident occurred on the Jewel-Osco close to Clark and Division when a safety guard was struck within the head with a hammer, police say.

The sufferer was taken to Northwestern Hospital by ambulance. Their situation will not be recognized at the moment.

Chicago Police haven’t present any extra particulars at the moment. The incident is beneath investigation.
