Lakemoor, IL fire today may have started in garage of townhome on N. Rushmore Ave; cause still under investigation

LAKEMOOR, In poor health. (TOC) — A fireplace broke out Tuesday afternoon at a townhome in Lakemoor within the far northwest suburbs.

Fox Lake fireplace officers mentioned the hearth appeared to have began within the storage of a multi-family dwelling within the 32000-block of N. Rushmore Ave., however the trigger remains to be underneath investigation.

Fireplace officers mentioned nobody was injured within the fireplace, and one animal was rescued. 9 totally different departments responded to the scene.

An investigation into the reason for the hearth is ongoing.
