GURNEE, Sick. (TOC) — A second man has been for a deadly taking pictures in a Gurnee Mills shopping center parking zone final November, police mentioned Friday.
Joey Gonzalez, 25, was taken into custody in Woodridge Friday, and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm, second diploma homicide, aggravated discharge of a firearm and illegal possession of a weapon by a felon, all felonies.
Gurnee police responded to the 6100 block of Grand Avenue simply after 2 p.m. on Nov. 27, 2021 and located a 26-year-old Zion man within the northeast aspect of the property, officers mentioned.
A Good Samaritan helped present first-aid to the sufferer till police and paramedics arrived, in line with police.
The person was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Middle in Libertyville in crucial situation, however later died from his wounds.
The identification of the sufferer has not been launched.
Earlier this month, Jesse Zumaya was arrested and charged within the homicide and had his bond set at $3 million.
