Girl, 11, injured in Gresham shooting: Chicago police

CHICAGO — An 11-year-old woman was wounded in a taking pictures early Monday in Gresham on the South Aspect.

The woman was standing exterior with a gaggle of individuals within the 8600-block of South Halsted Road when somebody approached and opened fireplace about 12:40 a.m., Chicago police mentioned.

She was struck within the leg and transported to Comers Youngsters’s Hospital in good situation, police mentioned.

There was nobody in custody.

Simply 10 minutes later, a lady and two youngsters have been harm in a taking pictures close by.

A lady, 29, was struck within the head and brought to Christ Medical Heart in Oak Garden in essential situation, police mentioned.

A boy, 16, was shot within the arm and leg, whereas a woman, 17, suffered a graze wound to the again, police mentioned. Each teenagers have been taken to the College of Chicago Medical Heart in good situation, police mentioned.

Police couldn’t affirm if there was any connection between the shootings.
