Flossmoor police shoot, kill 64-year-old woman during domestic disturbance call, ISP say

FLOSSMOOR, In poor health. (TOC) — A 64-year-old girl was killed after being shot by Flossmoor police, who had been responding to a home disturbance name Sunday.

Illinois State Police mentioned the Flossmoor Police Division had been known as to a house within the 1400-block of Joyce Drive round 12:15 p.m. Sunday for a report of a home disturbance.

State police mentioned officers had been met on the door by a lady holding a knife. Flossmoor officers shot her.

She was taken to an space hospital the place she was pronounced lifeless. No officers had been injured throughout the incident, state police mentioned.

The lady was recognized as 64-year-old Madeline Miller by the Prepare dinner County Medical Examiner.

The Illinois State Police Public Integrity Process Drive is investigating the taking pictures. No additional particulars have been launched.
