CHICAGO (TOC) — Emmit’s Irish Pub, a long-time Chicago tavern occupying a busy nook spot in River West, will shut its doorways later this month.
Emmit’s has operated for 26 years on the southeast nook of the intersection of Milwaukee and Grand Avenues.
The bar has appeared in a number of films and TV reveals over time. The house owners posted a message on the bar’s web site saying their plans to shut on June 25.
A message on their web site says “After 26 fantastic years of serving the River West Neighborhood, we’re saying that Emmit’s Irish Pub can be closing on the finish of June, 2022. We want to thank our Valued Workers who made Emmit’s essentially the most welcoming and iconic Irish Pub in Chicago. We’d additionally prefer to thank all of our loyal prospects and pals for the numerous recollections. Please cease in, have a pint and share a narrative.”
