Duck hunter finds human skeletal remains in marsh near Griffith in Lake County, Indiana, authorities say

GRIFFITH, Ind. (TOC) — Police are investigating after partial human skeletal stays had been found by a waterfowl hunter in Lake County, Indiana, Saturday.

The video above is ABC7’s 24/7 livestream.

The hunter was looking for a downed duck when he found what seemed to be bone protruding from a bit of clothes in a marsh space round 7 a.m., police stated.

A number of companies responded, together with Indiana Conservation Officers, the Griffith Police Division and Lake County Sheriff’s Workplace.

The stays had been confirmed to be human and had been recovered by Indiana Conservation Officers and members of the Lake County Sheriff’s Workplace Dive Group.

The id of the stays is at present unknown, and the investigation is ongoing.
