Daniel Jones leads Giants to early score in preseason opener

Daniel Jones’ crucial fourth season is underway.

The Giants quarterback threw his first passes towards actual opponents this 12 months, as New York opened its preseason schedule towards the Patriots in Foxborough on Thursday night time.

Jones performed the staff’s first two sequence, finishing six of 10 passes for 69 yards. He led the offense on a 13-play, 68-yard opening drive, leading to a discipline aim that put the Giants up 3-0. The Giants stalled on Jones’ second drive and punted.
