CTA driver injured after group throws rocks at bus in West Woodlawn: CPD

CHICAGO (TOC) — A CTA bus driver was injured after Chicago police stated a gaggle threw rocks on the bus Wednesday night time within the West Woodlawn neighborhood.

The 30-year-old driver was within the 500 block of East 63rd Road at about 10:39 p.m. when police stated she crossed the group throwing rocks.

One of many rocks entered the motive force’s aspect window and hit the motive force in her neck, police stated.

Passengers on the bus stated they did not know what was being pelted at them.
