Crest Hill shooting: Man killed, 4 injured while police tried to disperse crowd, authorities say

CREST HILL, Unwell. — A person died and 4 folks had been injured in a taking pictures Sunday night time in Crest Hill as police had been attempting to disperse a crowd at a car parking zone, authorities stated.

Officers had responded to the 1800 block of Knapp Drive about 11:45 p.m. when a number of gunshots had been fired, police stated. They discovered a person mendacity on the bottom with gunshot wounds.

The person was transported to Amita St. Joseph Medical Heart in Joliet, the place he was pronounced useless. His title has not been launched pending notification of household.
