CPD issues alert after violent Belmont Cragin stabbing, attempted kidnapping

CHICAGO (TOC) — Chicago police have issued a Belmont Cragin neighborhood alert after a violent tried kidnapping Tuesday morning.

CPD mentioned an 18- to 19-year-old man armed with a knife exited a small white SUV within the 5500-block of Wellington Avenue about 9:25 a.m. and forcibly shoved the sufferer within the again seat.

Throughout a battle, the sufferer was stabbed a number of occasions, Chicago police mentioned.

Because the suspect tried to drive away, the sufferer was capable of bounce out of the automobile and escape.

The suspect then drove north within the west alley of Linder Avenue, CPD mentioned.

Police described him as 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing 160 to 180 kilos and carrying a black ski masks and long-sleeve grey T-shirt.
