Clark After Dark Chicago: Block party hosted by USO of Illinois kicks off in River North, showing gratitude to service members

CHICAGO (TOC) — Clark After Darkish kicked off Thursday night time in River North. It is the large annual block celebration that celebrates America’s army service members and their households.

It is all taking place on Hubbard Road between LaSalle and Clark streets.

There’s stay music, loads of meals and drinks. However better of all, it is celebrating the women and men of the army who defend our nation.

That is an occasion the place we are able to categorical our gratitude for the bravery and dedication of service members. Many service members will likely be on the occasion with their households, so you’ll be able to thank them in particular person!

Christopher Schmidt, the chief director of the USO Illinois, joined ABC7’s Hosea Sanders to speak in regards to the spirit of this pageant for the army.
