Chicago shooting news today: Man shot and killed in East Garfield Park in 3100 block of W. Madison Street, police department says

CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man died after he was shot late Thursday in East Garfield Park on the West Aspect.

He was outdoors his car about 11:50 p.m. within the 3100 block of West Madison Avenue when two individuals approached him and one in all them fired a handgun, Chicago police stated.

The person was shot within the chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, the place he died, police stated.

Nobody was in custody. Space detectives are investigating.
