CHICAGO (TOC) — A 36-year-old man was discovered shot within the head in Chicago’s Lakeview East neighborhood early Tuesday morning, Chicago police mentioned.

CPD mentioned the person was discovered with a gunshot wound to the pinnacle about 1:50 a.m. within the 500-block of West Briar Place.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Heart, the place he remained in crucial situation later Tuesday morning.

A witness advised police two males have been seen driving away after the incident, touring west from the scene in a black SUV.

Nobody is in custody, and Space Three detectives are investigating.
