CHICAGO — A person was shot and killed Sunday evening inside an house hallway in Irving Park on the Northwest Aspect.
About 9:10 p.m., the 50-year-old was inside his house within the 4300-block of North Whipple Avenue when he heard a disturbance from an upstairs neighbor, Chicago police stated.
He stepped into the hallway and was shot within the face, police stated.
He was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Middle, the place he died, police stated.
The Prepare dinner County Medical Examiner’s Workplace later recognized him as Carlos Rivera.
No arrests have been made.
