Chicago shooting: 3 shot walking along lakefront near Museum Campus, Chicago police say

CHICAGO — Three individuals have been shot whereas strolling alongside the lakefront early Saturday close to the Museum Campus on the Close to South Facet.

The wounded have been strolling alongside the lakefront within the 1200 block of South Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable Lake Shore Drive about 1:30 a.m. once they have been struck by gunfire, Chicago police stated.

One man, 19, was shot within the face and brought to Stroger Hospital in vital situation, police stated.

One other man, 20, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest, police stated. His situation was stabilized.

A 3rd man, 18, was shot within the leg and was taken to Stroger in good situation, officers stated.

Nobody was in custody.
