Chicago shooting: 2 wounded, 1 critically while walking in South Shore, police say

CHICAGO (TOC) — Two males have been wounded, one critically, in a South Shore capturing Saturday afternoon, Chicago police stated.

ABC7 spoke with one girl off-camera who recognized herself because the mom of one of many victims. She stated she didn’t know the way her son was doing.

The relations of the 2 victims have been ready for information in regards to the males, 27 and 63 years outdated.

Video of the scene confirmed the aftermath of the afternoon capturing, which left the home windows of a restaurant shattered. What seemed to be a couple of dozen proof markers have been on the bottom.

Chicago police stated it occurred within the 2000-block of East 71st Avenue close to South Jeffrey Boulevard. Thus far, investigators stated early experiences indicated that the 2 males have been strolling close to the sidewalk when a car pulled as much as them. Then, somebody received out of the car and shot on the two males a number of instances.

The 2 have been taken to College of Chicago Medical Middle. Police officers stated the 27-year-old was shot a number of instances all through his physique. He was taken to the hospital in essential situation.

As for the 63-year-old man, CPD stated he was hit within the leg and the ankle and is in good situation.

Investigators haven’t stated if the 2 males are associated. No suspects in custody.
