CHICAGO — A ten-year-old boy was shot within the foot Thursday evening inside a house in Englewood on the South Facet.

About 5:30 p.m., the boy was dealing with a firearm in a house within the 6800 block of South Morgan Avenue when the weapon was discharged, Chicago police stated.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the foot and was taken to Comer Youngsters’s Hospital in good situation, police stated.

No additional particulars have been instantly out there. Detectives are investigating the incident.

It was not instantly clear if there have been any pending costs.
