CHICAGO (TOC) — An individual is in custody after pictures have been fired inside a PACE bus on the Bishop Ford Expressway close to a hundred and thirtieth Avenue Tuesday afternoon, in line with Illinois State Police.
A Tempo spokesperson mentioned there was a combat between passengers on the bus and pictures have been fired round 3:45 p.m.
Nobody on board the bus was injured, Tempo and state police confirmed.
The #353 bus, which providers the South Facet of Chicago and quite a few south suburbs, ended up stopping on the shoulder for about an hour, however no lanes of visitors have been blocked.
The bus has initially been taken to the Riverdale Police Division, presumably so regulation enforcement can interview a few of the passengers and retrieve video from the bus’s cameras.
It is unclear what number of passengers have been on board the bus on the time of the taking pictures.
Two males have been seen being positioned into the again of a cruiser, however they weren’t in handcuffs. They have been apparently delivered to the police station for questioning.
Illinois State Police are asking that anybody who witnessed the taking pictures or has any data of it to contact ISP by telephone at 847-294-4400, or by electronic mail at [email protected]
Witnesses can stay nameless.
