Chicago crime: Police department warns of armed robberies in Roseland, Fernwood on South Side

CHICAGO (TOC) — Chicago police are warning the general public a few string of armed robberies within the Roseland and Fernwood neighborhoods.

CPD mentioned they’re looking for as much as three suspects concerned within the robberies. Police haven’t launched any pictures or video footage of the suspects, however authorities mentioned the suspects had been seen carrying black ski masks and hoodies.

Throughout every incident, Chicago police mentioned the suspects displayed a handgun or rifle and demanded the victims’ property.

The robberies passed off on July 11 within the 9900 block of South Lafayette Avenue, July 12 within the 10200 block of South Yale Avenue and July 27 within the 10400 block of South State Road in Roseland.
