CHICAGO (TOC) — A automotive was stolen from a River North fuel station whereas its driver was filling up, Chicago police stated.
Police stated at about 6:45 p.m., a 34-year-old girl was pumping fuel within the 600-block of North LaSalle Road along with her driver’s facet door open.
The suspect jumped into the open automotive and fled westbound, police stated. A safety guard on the fuel station pulled out a gun and fired photographs on the thief, although it was not instantly clear if the thief or the automotive was struck.
