Auburn Gresham shooting: Woman, 21, killed while confronting garage burglar ID’d, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (TOC) — The lady shot and killed in Auburn Gresham whereas confronting a person who was burglarizing her storage has been recognized, Cook dinner County officers stated.

Chicago police stated Jessica Hudson, 21, walked into her storage whereas it was being burglarized round 7:45 p.m. within the 7500-block of South Wolcott Avenue.

The burglar shot her within the chest, again and arm, killing her, CPD stated.

The shooter then fled the scene. Nobody is at present in custody. An investigation by Space Two detectives is ongoing.

Police haven’t launched any description of the suspect.
