Armed robber ties up employees, steals jewelry from Glenview antique shop, police say

GLENVIEW, Sick. (TOC) — Two employees at a suburban vintage store have been tied up and robbed Thursday, in response to police.

Police say a person with an edge weapon walked into “Antiques by GK” round 10:30 a.m. in Glenview and tied up the workers. He then stole jewellery and received away in a tan-colored Cadillac sedan.

The employees weren’t harm, police say.

This incident is being investigated by the Glenview Police Division’s Investigations Unit.
