8-year-old boy hospitalized after shot in Markham, police asking public’s for help

MARKHAM, Ailing. (TOC) — An 8-year-old boy is within the hospital after he was shot early Tuesday morning in south suburban Markham.

Police responded to the 16000 block of Ashland Avenue round 3 a.m. after receiving a name a couple of boy shot, in keeping with village officers.

He was shot within the stomach and brought to Christ Hospital and later transferred to U of C Comer Youngsters’s Hospital, the place he has been stabilized, officers mentioned.

Nobody is in custody and officers mentioned it doesn’t look like an unintended taking pictures.
