CHICAGO (TOC) — 5 individuals are dealing with costs Sunday in connection a CTA Purple Line stabbing on the town’s North Facet.
They’ve been accused of stabbing a 42-year-old man on Friday.

Police stated the stabbing occurred within the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue close to the North & Clybourn cease. The sufferer took out his personal knife and fought again, police stated.
The incident disrupted CTA service on that day.
Shawn Gullens, 20, Latoya Thomas, 22, Martinez Owens, 24, Larone Williams, 36, and Vernon Holman, 52, have been charged with aggravated battery and armed theft. They’re anticipated to be in courtroom later Sunday.
The CTA launched a press release, saying “We’re happy to see costs filed on this case, and thank the Chicago Police Division for its fast response to this incident. Violence on CTA is totally unacceptable, and people who are accountable shall be held accountable. CTA will work carefully with prosecutors to make sure the strongest costs potential for these alleged offenders.”
