CHICAGO — A person was attacked at a CTA Inexperienced Line station and one other was attacked on a Blue Line prepare nearly an hour aside Saturday night time.
One man, 50, was struck behind the top with a knife and pushed onto the tracks on the Cicero cease within the 4800 block of West Lake Avenue about 9:45 p.m., Chicago police stated, including that he was in a position to get again onto the platform safely.

He suffered a minor puncture wound to the again of the top and a damaged elbow, and was taken to Stroger Hospital in good situation, officers stated.
Just a little over an hour later, a 39-year-old man was driving a Blue Line prepare within the 1500 block of North Damen Avenue when he was attacked with a knife after an argument with somebody he did not know, police stated.

The person suffered a laceration to the correct aspect of his face and arm and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good situation, officers stated.
Authorities do not consider the 2 incidents are associated.

Nobody from both assault was in custody.
